Will the FW event be similar to the 1 last year, from what i saw on youtube there were 4 good mayhem rounds
There will be 2 feather fights per show, so 4 in total.
And a trophy for the best performing feather weight of the day !
VIP tickets have just about sold out, so looks like its going to be a busy 2 shows again !!

We will be over on saturday ... is somebody staying over in a hotel or B&B or knows something decent for 2 nights ... ?

Work on the new Hades is almost finished ... this weekend first testdrive and flip ...

Is anyone attending this event AND Edinburgh and would be willing to transport a few parts for some people who have bought some bits and pieces ? Just a couple of motors and potentially an actuator or two.
I'm attending Edinburgh, but not Guildford - so it would help people save on some shipping £££

Sadly I couldn't make Edinburgh in the end - I need to get two motors to Guildford for Jeroen. Is anyone going from East Anglia who I could get the motors two to take :-) ????
By any change u can get them to Ian Watts before Saturday ? We ( Marco and i ) Will be meeting him on Saturday on some show Crawley.
Of course it will be only possible if he has some extra space to take them. I have no idea where he life's, and what kind of show it is.

We are arriving in Dover 11.30 AM local time i think. Not sure about that, can be an hour later. Must check it.

Well if no-one can help get the motor to you then I think we're a bit stuck unless you want to pay the postage but suspect that will be expensive ! I live in Ipswich if you want to take a look at where that is in the UK

As I won't be there until the show is finished (working, then coming for arena take down), an our back up failed, we're in need of an antweight arena for this event. Can anyone help?
i have my alu arena, few sharp edges and its pretty crap.
Jonny also has his red thing.

Just wanted to say thank you to the roaming robots guys for such a great show, we really enjoyed ourselves :D
Also a big thank you to Trevor for helping me with my pneumatics, could have mange it all without you.
I am proud to say that our robot has come out of the competition working better than at the start!

Thanks to everyone for a great couple of shows today! Nice to see another full house although some of the audience did come up with some very interesting questions! Really enjoyed getting to spend some time talking to the crowd!

Nice break from events, as i go off to do my educational projects in schools until the end of the school year, and then start things again after the summer.
For those of you which didnt know, it turns out as MD has lived at the Spectrum for the last 4 weeks, it was caught on CCTV that it had a mouse living in it !!! :rofl: Not for long when i put the link in and moved it !!

It's all just lights, smoke, noise and small robots! I know there was a recent discussion about how the FWs were too 'boring' but I don't think obscuring them is the answer.....
It's no better for the drivers either.
