Steel Plate

Hi I'm looking for 4mm thick steel plate. I have been having problems finding some, so I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

What size do you need? I have loads spare

Two or three 500 x 500 plates is a enough.

Just mild steel, or something more resilient?

Steel or mild steel should be fine, I hope :P

going local will be cheaper and you'll be able to pick it up

Doesn't sound for robotarmor then. For the same weight, and a lot more resilience, you could use Hardox or simular wear-resistant steel.

Well I'm not making my next robot out of burly Swedish men.......

Well it was going to be armor but I didn't realize the difference of Steel and Hardox.

i have some 5mm 51cm by 49cm i can sell you if you want :)
