6mm HDPE is fine if you want different 3mm aluminum would work
whats the density of HDPE
its really in the name... HIGH density
its strong stuff, put it that way
its quite flexible if its thin. polycarbonate is more ridgid
Matt you're getting confused with strength, Harry you're getting confused with rigidity. For the DENSITY of hdpe google it- I can't remember it off the top of my head
Off the top of my head it's a little bit below 1g/cm^3.

are there many crushers to require a strong top?
ive not tested mine properly yet and i dont think the tip is the right shape yet but crumple zone has the equlivant of 700kg on the tip
also look at callums thread for the stats on his crusher
