i think i have an 18v one suiting that description
by high and low do you mean ones with a small metal lever on the gearbox??

i got a couple of those gearboxes kicking around although they will need to be re-assembled. I put them in a bag as I didn't need the gearboxes and just left them.

Yes Alex sounds like the ones, you move the leaver and it engages the low gear ratio and 18v sounds about right.Quote:

Had a look craig and I started putting together a couple of gearboxes from the parts in a box I have of drill parts but I realised I didn't have the fronts of the gearboxes with the variable speed. I will have a look elsewhere but it looks like I won't have what you're after :(
That's sad news but thanks for all your efforts in looking for me anyway.

I've only just noticed this thread. I'm afraid to say I have a set of these gearboxes sitting just to the left of me on a bit of tissue paper sitting on my stereo. If I had noticed it before I would have brought them to Leicester. If you are still in need of them I can post them to you or if your not in a hurry I can bring them to the O2.
