I use some sandpaper to get good rough surface for soldering?
clean the crap off first. Secondly what sized is your soldering iron?
Are you giving the iron a good half minute between applications to let it heat up again fully?
yeh the soldering iron works well on the other cells and its heating up for a while ill try removing the crap see what happens
thanks
hi all got a few more questions for you all :)
1)i have finally found the right balance wires with the right amount of wires etc, but i'm not sure which colour i need to wire up to which cell (ie one colour is going to be the negative one). I presume it makes a difference as to the way they go into the balancer any help???
2) whats the best way to protect the bottom and tops of the packs? as currently i don't think heatshrink will be good enough on it's own. ???? note the blue wires are the old balance wires i was goning to use they will be removed and replaced with new (see above)

You need to have a look at your charger to find out where it wants to see the negative. Once you know this you can wire it up to match.

Check the documentation with your balancer. It should tell you where the negative etc goes
Get some silicon rubber from technobots for the packs. http://www.technobots.co.uk/acatalog/Sh ... t_105.html
