Robo Challenge - Power Tool Drag Racing

Hello everyone

We are kick starting this year with some Power Tool Drag racing!

On March 13th & 14th Robo Challenge will be bringing PTDR to the Newcastle Science Festival. 2 days of action packed technology and science! We would like to invite you to race your creations down the 20m long track. Can anyone beat the challenge set by the Tiny Toon Team of slowest dragster ever??

This event will be a nice relaxed one. Much of the time will be letting the public have a go at racing belt sanders however it would be great to see some of your creations. Show the public what can really be achieved with an angle grinder!

Grrr wanted to see this last year... and wanted to see it this year.. grrr but cant :( At a VIP weekend for opening of the new £15million ride at Alton Towers. Will look forward to the videos again. good luck all, have fun.

This was indeed awesome last time, and although there's no combat this time round I imagine it would still be great fun. Would need to see if I can afford accomodation for a night but would definetly like to go, even with the slowest sander around :)

would love to come but sadly i will be in a tent in the middle of alaska at that time :uhoh:
