Omega HX
Thought i'd put some pics up of my latest project. After years of never finding the time to, i've finally started on my big version of Omega that i built for UK Robotic Games a few years back see here.... http://www.teammad.co.uk/eventpics/events74.jpg
Specs:
Motors: Bosch 750s on 36volts (7HP)
Control: 4QD 200 Speed Controllers
Power: 3x 40Ah Hawker Batteries
Drive: 18inch ATV Wheels, MOD2 first stage, 1/2 Chain second stage
Speed: 17MPH
Weight: Somwhere over the 100Kg mark!

What sort of gear ratio you running alan? Looks cool.

Its either 17:1 or 20:1 cant remember which, think it might be 20:1 to help stop motors getting too warm, which would give it about 16mph.

Managed to get some more done today, finally! Roll cage is done, battery tray is half done (although needs mod'ing as its abit tight).

It is looking very nice now but what is it for is there a robot sport for it to compete in? Or is it just for fun :D
