Windows Live Messenger 9.0...

...is the biggest piece of [banned] I have ever downloaded from Microsoft. Its bloody irritating, the windows keep switching back and forth between convos like mad :S, the display pictures have moved over to the other side of the screen :S, and its getting laggy as hell now.

Ive uninstalled it and tried reinstall WLM 8.5, but have had no luck. I get a catastrophic error every time. Ive read up on other solutions as well, and have tried them but again no luck.

Seriously, my sympathy goes out to the people who have downloaded this cruddy program. Argh.

Which V9 do you have. I have the latest one with MSN plus installed on it also and i think its the best MSN thats ever been created. Dont get the problems that you seem to be having either.. sure its just not your computer/laptop keybaord/mouse playing up? Yeah the dispaly pics have moved but i got used to that,... hmmm dont seem laggy... but the new features are just soo useful.

I really have no use for those features, to be honest. The display pictures I might be getting used to but when I try and talk to somebody and I have two convos running, the windows will always switch between the two, like constantly, so that if Im typing a message, both convos will get fragments of a message Im trying to send to one person (that is, if Im not looking up at the screen while doing so :P). Also, it gets so laggy during midday.

Another problem Im noticing is that I seem to get booted out of convos with 4 or more people. Any idea why this is?

None of these problems ever happened with 8.5...

Ive never EVER had those problems. seeems very odd and weird to be fair mate.

V9 is pretty good; I don€™t like the switch of d/p pics from right to left though, that is annoying for a while:)

its all about facebook msn nowadays

I do not use such networking sites like Facebook or Myspace anymore because I feel they are a big waste of time. If you want to get noticed, make friends in a community forum, but dont sell yourself on a networking site where ANYONE can see ya.
