Aluminium rod

will a 12mm diamter rod of aluminium be strong enoguh to use for a selfrighter device ona featehr weight (90mm in length)

whoops sorry i misread your original post, thought you said 900mm. A 90mm long bar should be fine for a featherweight

Is that a typo? if 90mm it wont bend, if 900mm it would flex alot but should get the robot over fine.
