Weight of hardox

can someone tell me the density of hardox? so i can work the weight out for a certain size

Pretty much the same as other steels, just under 8Kg for a 1mm thick metre square.

i have been told that hardox 450 is only avaiable in 3.2mm+, does this mean there are other grades etc that go lower (thickness wise)

Nope, 3.2mm is the thinnest SSAB makes Hardox.

hardox 400 is available in 3.2mm however this is somewhat of a special thickness and is generally worth 2 to 3 times more than 4mm hardox 400.
