Its quite overweight at 125kg. And its not only a spinner, its a petrol driven spinner at that. Whoever buys this needs to change it quite a lot.
Still at 10 pounds it is worth it for the TX alone. A chance to pick up some wheelchair motors and wheels perhaps?

it has 4 servos in it, which makes me wonder what speedo is fitted? im wondering if it is using a wheel chair motor stick with 2 servos attached, and 2 for the weapon motor. i have a feeling it will be very old skool inside (but then again he built it 5 years ago?) would be interesting to see an inside pic.
but like leo says it worth a tenner.

Im tempted to buy it lol it looks cool, and i like the old school bots.. there more fun. Weld a wedge on it, slap a vantec in it.. ala pants tornado... / test turb against robot :)
Golden Eye - Robot Wars Robot
that spinning weapon looks really unsafe. Especially since its petrol.
I wouldnt even test run it.
But yeah i would buy it mainly for parts. Seems ok.
Golden Eye - Robot Wars Robot
seems a shame to take robots apart for spares though.. Rather fix em up, more fun. Id spin it up lol just stand back :) ..right back lol not without 2.4gig in it though.. dont trust spinners on 40mhz anymore lol

cant see them selling it for £10 but ye looks alright for a cheap bot
could buy it and face thz thor and ko :P

Id get it if it was practical for me...you could always make it into a rammer and use the engine to make some sort of suicidal featherweight :proud:

Golden Eye - Robot Wars Robot
it has no reserve and a starting price of £10!!
for anyone that wishes to know out of curiosity i asked what speedo was fitted, this was the reply.
Hi, No internal pics as the item is in a workshop 5 miles away, I will try and get some internal pics if you let me have your e-mail address. The speed controller is from a powered wheelchair like the drives, this robot can turn on a sixpence with a smooth surface and some decent batteries, also put a fan cooling system on the controller as I have been able to put up to 36 volts through this machine!! The weapon is driven by a strimmer engine specially adapted with the same gearbox from one of the electric drives for robustness!! Happy Bidding! All the best Mark

Sounds like two servos and the original joystick.
