12/13th July 2008 Roaming Robots Royal International Air Tattoo

Once again we have been invited back to the 2008 Royal International Air Tattoo for another weekend of robots and planes. Fingers crossed once again with the weather as this is our second of two outdoor events for 2008 !!

This event will feature our main Robot Wars show plus the increasingly popular pay to drive robots. This will be their last event before they head off once again on the Haven Holiday Park Tour around the UK.

Beast is our current Heavy Weight RIAT champion and 2008 will see the event returning to competition format, will he be lucky once again???

my fave event of 2007 and will be for 2008. will be arriving on the friday with envy and thor. jason and i will then drink ourselves stupid and do the saturday event well hungover. earplugs on standby mr lear :) looking forward to this one

So it has now been decided that this event will play host to the 2008 heavy weight UK championships.

More info to follow once all the paperwork has been finalised with RIAT itself.

how bigs the pit tent gonna b ? bigger then last yr?

these are things we are sorting out, whether to go for a bigger pit marquee, or just put everything under one big one like the frst year we were there!!! AT least we are all dry :)
