Hammer drills?

what is the difference between normal drills and hammer drills?

Maplins are doing a similar 18 Volt drill at the same price.

A battery hammerdrill has 1 big difference compared to the normals.
The hammer function ring and torque limiter. This adds bulk to the system, and makes conversion to robot drive a bit more complicated. But for the rest, about no difference.
