1000psi Relief Valves
I have finally got the 1000psi PRV for shockwave but I have found a problem.
I am using one of Trevs regulators and I cant get the fittings required to fit the PRV before the regulator because it screws straight onto the CO2 bottle.
Where can I get the fittings I need??
Thanks
Will

I would adapt the regulator itself, so the PRV screws in on that, in a FP part. But thats me.

will if you use trevs regulator all you need is low pressure ?
as its for low presure

Rules say that you must have a 1000 psi PRD.

Please note that this rule will be discussed at the next FRA meeting.

was going to say woody why have a 1000 psi (66 bar) valve after a reg (using Trevs) low pres making only 16 bar (ish)
kane can you tell us what might be happening ?

I agree John
There is no possible reason to have the 1000 psi PRD on the regulator outlet...did someone suggest it?

Woody it looks like Will is trying to fit one after one of Trevs valves
which is pointless realy.

Will.
You really only have the two options ..get an adaptor made to take the PRV that goes between the bottle and the reg ...or as Mario says drill and tap the regulator body.
Ask Trev for a solution.

The inlet on the Trev Reg is 3/8 bsp. So a hydraulic T with 1 3/8 bsp male and a 3/8bsp female - the third whatever you need to fit the PRV on is the fast, and commercial solution.
