Crystals

i will be purchasing some spare crystals soon some technobots ones and some hitec crystals, for them to work in a hitec tx+rx the need to be hitec, right?

i have found some crstals but they are quite expensive, does anyone have any to sell 2nd hand?

these say compatiable with a number of different brands including hitec, any good?

A general rule that I alwase follow is get the same brand crystals and rx. I find using different crystals for my futaba rx heavely reduces its range.
However I have not had any experience with this make of crystal and unless you get a thumbs up from some one who has i sugest you be safe then sorry and get the same brand crystal as the rx your using.

I would agree with Marco.

For the extra few pounds it may cost you now, you will get rid of one potential problem further down the line. Not to say that these crystals wont work.

I may have some standard futaba ones kicking around (mostly dual conversion). Do you know if these will work with the technobots futaba system?

are you talking about the technobots transmitter 4 chnannel? because thats the one we have, i dont know to be honest idf they will work, its not really the technobots one im having trouble with its the hitec

just thought it was worth a shot because of the description, and also because i have seen jonno using them
