Chargering Nimhs
hi all
brought 2 8.4v 3300mah nimh battery packs. not chargered them yet, but the charger i have been using for my nicads is an Ansmann acs47 which i think can also charge Nimhs.
has anyone had expierence with this charger, and therefore knows if it will charge Nimhs?
also i i saw what looked like a very similar one on ebay which could charge both but for use with 1400mah-3000mah, just wonder if my current one does charge nimh whta would happen if it only went up to 3000mah, when my bats are 3300mah?
thanks alex

Google search .......
The ACS 47 however is a different beast - its a powerful, good charger.
It has 3 settings:
1AMP - will take approx 3 hours to peak a 3000mah pack
2AMP - will take approx 1.5 hours to peak a 3000mah pack
4AMP - will take approx 45mins to peak a 3000mah pack
Generally, peak chargers can take any mah pack, so 3000mah are no problem, as are 3300s etc..

I suspect the answer is yes ...no matter which model you might have.
