Long story short, Im bored and I want to start a new writing project. I also dont want to bring the NSBFL back, so Im trying something vaguely new.
The vaguely new something is a fantasy based probably serious RPG with a very simple stats based system. Ill need between three and six players, so Im just posting this to see how much interest there is. I dont want to start it if its just going to go the way of my last game here...
Count me in, I always like a new RPG. What kind of setting are we looking at here? I need time to plot, lol.
I want in. Ill see if I can wrangle some people too. :proud:
Alex, the setting is a fairly generic fantasy world. Roughly medieval technology, with some extras thrown in. The local setting obviously changes as you progress.
Id better say now, apart from the major plot points, the story isnt set in stone. Ill be winging it mostly.

I dont mind at all abotu free-flow plots - Ive always done it that way myself anyways as otherwise people dont do what you expect and you end up having to deny things that should really work unless you put in more work than Im ever bothered to do.
I would presume theres some magic? Assuming its there, would it be set out in what types of it there are, or just anything (within reason) goes?
I learned my lesson about set in stone plots with the Guardians... The players werent i[supposed] to harrass OHara:lame:
There is magic, and its a bit of both. For example, a fire spell can be used for more than just throwing fireballs at monsters, depending on your imagination.
Anyway, theres at least three interested so Ill open up the actual thread for it soon.
