Just found this on channel 5 website

i dont remember if anyone ever got to the bottom on what was happening about the roumerd return of robotwars with emma greenwood. i just had a look on her agents website and this was quoted on her biography

Emma has been contracted as anchor presenter for top FIVE show €˜Robot Wars€™ in production to air Spring 2006
this as we know didnt go into production. but after seeing that today it let me to the five site.

As a result of evolving our Entertainment Programming Strategy we have decided not to commission any further series of the programme. We will also not be repeating any episodes in the near future.

i dont know if anyone else was interested in this outcome as it is now a while back but i though id post it none the less for anyone who was.

Well, thats that cleared up.
Looks like their going the way of the UK Teens Channel, Toonami.
A channel that started out with cool programmes and now has decided to get better ones in and thus are currently going bankrupt.
