Servo powerd robot
Hi every one
Im fairly new to robot building although I have been using r/c models for about 11 years and have built 2 robots one using car seat motors and one using standard servos as the drive motors.
IM thinking about building a small robot that weighs under 10kg I plan on using 4 hitec hs805 servos each with about 24 kg of torque and modifying them for continus rotation the only problem I can see is that if I have four servos 2 per channel adjusting the creep would be complicated so does any one know if making up a circuit with 4 poteiomoters 1 per servo so they could each be adjusted induviduliy will work? The robot is just for a personal challenge of making a small light robot with plenty of torque.
Any help would be appreciated many thanks mike.

You dont need to use the circuit in the Servo to control the servo motor. The best option is to use a speed controller then you have no creep.

thanks mike

Try replacing your pot with one of these from Maplins.
9.5mm (3/8€Â) Square 22-Turn Cermet Preset Potentiometers ......the 5k is ideal.
A bit of twiddling will be needed to set the centre OFF position.
