Bite Sized Tournament

Alright, Im back. Sorry I let the last one die. Ill try to prevent that this time by doing a demo tournament first, and doing a larger one if that works for me.

Heres the plan: four weight categories. Single elimination. Simple arena with nothing in it, no moat, no hazards, no house bots, just a wall.

Lightweights: 25 kg
Middleweights: 50 kg
Heavyweights: 100 kg
Superheavyweights: 150 kg

Enter one robot in each category, no more, no less. Heres what the stats should look like:
-Picture, preferably CAD, preferably good.
-Short description of the design, please nothing long.
-robots specialty, armor wheels or weapon. If its a jack of all trades, say that.

Im just going to have 4 people enter for starters, and if it works Ill do a big version of the same thing.



Heres the catch: I wont write the fights. Ill just say who wins, and give a percentage based on how many times out of 100 that robot would win, of the two. Ill also give a brief reason for it.

No strategies.

Do not submit strategies. I wont listen to you!

No modular designs either, a robot will look the same no matter what opponent it has. The percentage system should make up for this, somewhat.

Yeah, its different. Yeah, it might not work. Thats why this is just a DEMO tournament. Lets see how it goes.

Im afraid I have very little idea of how to attach pictures. Are they absolutly neccessary? If they are, I may have to pass.

I think links are the only way to do it on this forum.

Its basically a huggy-bear type robot (in the H-shape), which is extremely low to the ground. It uses its scoop/pan to get you caught and high centered while it beats you with the drum. Can self-right with the thingy in the middle. Hinged wedges on all sides.

Its speciality is how low it is.

Pretty much a bar spinner with wedges on the back and sides.

It has somewhat good speed, but its main speciality is its spinning bar.

HW - IFHW

Its pretty much a low flipping pushing robot. Invertible.

Its speciality is its pushing, pretty much. Though it is good at flipping too.

A low low pushing wedge with hinged wedges on all sides.

Its speciality is its pushing power and speed.

Ad Infinitums links dont seem to be working for me. The rest of the stuff looks good.

Hes basically a really fast rammer with a skirt in front to get under robots. Hes really fast, really pushy, and really ANTI. Hes invertible also. :P

Specialty = Pushability, and low-to-the-groundness.

An invertible FBS with an outstretched middle and several hardox-tipped spikes.

Specialty = Destruction of its opponent.

Wedginator Reborn (HW)

Pic should give the description, but its basically a wedge, with sloped sides and rear, and a somewhat powerful flipper. Its invertible too.

Specialty = Jack-of-all-trades. :P

Er...its a box with a front wedge thats been cut-off towards the middle to make room for the vicious vertical disc, but mainly to catch opponents who try to race by. Its also got weak lifting skirts to further prevent the opponent from getting under and even.

Specialty = Its weapon. :P

That should be OK. Tell me if its not.

Ill have to get something up this weekend I think..... Im out of practise at thinking of a decent idea for robots, lol...

Well, hurry up with those entrant stats, or Ill start improvising. You really dont want that!
