Has anyone from the FRA tried to approach Solidworks in the UK (http://www.solidworks.co.uk/http://www.solidworks.co.uk/) asking for a similar deal the american guys get with the RFL? (http://www.solidworks.com/pages/programs/battlebots/index.htmlhttp://www.solidworks.com/pages/prog...ots/index.html). Worth a shot possibly?
They did have a deal once were roboteers got a free copy (i think they were at Newark one year). Look here; http://www.solidworks.com/pages/programs/robotwars/http://www.solidworks.com/pages/programs/robotwars/ i dont know if the deal is still going, maybe somebody could try to register.
They did the same with the dutch roboteers on the DRG forum.
