Help with fund raising...

Hey you lot, you are one of the people that i know will more than likely able to help me on this one, so im asking for help...

A close friend of mine died on a motorbike accident just over a month ago, as hed never been the flowers or cards person, i didnt get any, because it just would have been against his principle. Now Id found out that he used to do some sort of fund raising for air ambulance, I did try to get in contact with them, but still hasnt got a respond just yet. I am wondering whether it would be possible for one of you at least (yes, jonno, you are one of the people im talking about, cos you know more of these kinda stuff than most) would you be able to do some sort of charity robot fights or similar to raise some money... it is for a good course.

Unless another one of you have better idea, it will be appreciative to give me some input on this one... thanx.

Well when you get a reponce from them, where are you / they based?, and well get them to a local event.

Im sure we can get 3 roboteers to hand over the controls, and they can drive in a charity fight, and they / we can get the robots sponsored for doing it.

Im still in contact with air ambulance, but ive also spoke to someone about how to go on about things like this, and hes given me a lot of details, its more hard work than i thought, but nevertheless I will keep trying to sort things out as they go along...

Im in yorkshire, but shouldnt be any problem its convient for you to set your event round your end, (it is in newark ish innit? lol)
