One motor or two?

I know that this has probably been asked already but if I was wanting to spin up a disc which would be better, one motor or two? The two together weigh exactly the same as the larger one hense weight isnt a problem.

2 x 18v drill motor (run at 24v)

or

1 x larger 24v drill motor (run at 24v)

2 x 18v on 24v would have more power, but the motor axle is harder to mount onto
