Gentlemen,
Does anyone know were I can find a good on-line materials weight calculator? Preferably one that covers both metals and plastics. If it can be downloaded too, so much the better.
Thanks,
Geoff.

Thats a good question.
Most of the time I use Matweb; what provides me with the most molecular densities ,and then I recalculate that to the size I need.
I use http://www.allmeasures.com/Formulae/http://www.allmeasures.com/Formulae/ for metals.

Plus another nice little utility.....http://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/convert.exehttp://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/convert.exe
Thanks Woody - Ive been trying to find a copy of convert.exe for ages after I deleted it by accident.
Thanks Woody,
Just what I have been looking for, all I need now is one that can do plastics (nylon 6 and Polycarb)
geoff if you know the density of them then I can do you a spread sheet.
Regards
Ian
