Revolting children . . .

Having built and dismantled a number of homebrew robots over the last couple of months, number 1 son has decided that dad is no longer needed and with the delivery of some HDPE sheets yesterday he's decided to go it alone with his next design.

So he's disassembled work to date, pinched all the good stuff and set off on his journey armed only with a sharpie pen. When informed that we'd be rebuilding one of the old bots if we get an invite to Insomnia I was told that he'd have his new one done by then :-)

I see some bearing boys blue wheels in the background of that picture. Can I enquire as to how you are mounting them onto shafts? some pictures?

The motor shafts have a 3mm groove down their length so a corresponding notch has been cut into the wheel bore and then a 3mm square metal key is inserted to lock the 2 together
