At the champs I noticed a couple of bots using chains for drive transmission which had very small links. I think Swift Breeze was one of them (Bright orange wedge). Does anybody know where I can buy chains that small and the sprockets to go with them? Or what that size of chain is called? (not sure if I should be looking for a certain X# or pitch in mm).
To me it looked even smaller than 6mm, it might just be my memory fooling me though. But when I first saw it I was like "Damn, those be some small chains!"
It will in all likelihood have been 6mm chain.
You were probably seeing "Stiff Breeze" (very nicely made orange 6WD pusher) which will have been 6mm chain, or certainly no smaller.
Stiff Breeze! Not swift breeze... Doh!
