Hello everybody,
Just wondering if there is a wiring diagram for a Robot available?
General motor, cut off links and other electrical items?
Thanks.

People using a forum to ask questions. Shock horror.
Jay do you have some components in mind? There are a few ways to do it depending on what you want to use (general principals being the same) more information is needed here. If you're just after a truly basic idea of what goes where in what order thats fine too.
Research is your friend as Alex says. However lets none of us wave around members in front of members asking questions. Maybe dont condem from a single post.
Morning,
Ive been through the build posts with no luck really there's that much stuff!
I have all the basics in my head, however as you said, yes it can be dangerous hence me looking for a basic diagram to see if im on the right track that's all.. Not here to steal peoples ideas lol
Material, weaponry, drive motors etc i have no problems with :)
It's basically batteries, speed controller and drive motors. Batteries cable to the speedo with a removable link, motors wire into the speedo. Receiver plugs into the speed controller to control it. Forgive the crude drawing.

Where can I get me some of that zigzag wire for my receiver? :)
Andrew Hibberd made some amazingly useful wiring diagrams for Antweights for beginners. Some of this is going to be different for the larger weight classes, and it's quite out of date, but hopefully you should find some of it useful:

Only cool people get zig zag wiring B-) lol
In all seriousness though to the OP if you're not into welding, drilling and bolting, angle grinding and wiring you'll struggle to get a heavy together. Advice as ever is build something smaller first but with heavies being flavour of the month it is likely to fall on deaf ears lol.
Ah great, the removable link was confusing me, sometimes the simplest things! ha..
It's the new method of drawing twisted pair :)))
Yeah that's a sketch for a beetle but it'd work for a heavy if you get a bigger speedo n battery. The only thing missing is a fuse which you really need in a heavy. You could even use the fuse AS the link?
