I'm just curious here if anyone has ever tried a rubberised spinning weapon that would act more as a flinger than anything else? I know it would come with a fair few design and practical issues but more curious if anyone's even thought of or tired the concept
A few of the US Sportsman bots have wheels on brushless motors that just launch their opponents up themselves like ramps, but that's about it so far as I know.

This triangular shape robot does something like that.

It's a bit more than just that, there's an internal flywheel at a much higher rpm that's mechanically linked to the flipper which is why it's able to launch other bots so well.
