New BBC robotics competition

Hello all! I’m posting from the BBC where we are currently developing a competition format for robotics and engineering. The programme would involve teams of amateurs building robots and devices to complete tasks and challenges.

At the moment we are keen to find out what you guys are doing within the UK robotics community – what you've made already and what you'd love to make next. I wonder if anybody would be happy to speak to me further about this? It would be great to hear from any existing groups (students and enthusiasts) as well as hackers and modifiers whose passion for creation dominates their lives.

Yep, it's called Robot Wars :lol:
In all seriousness though, never did hear much more about it. They changed researcher/contact to someone else who sent an email, then went very quiet.

I had a chat and it all went quiet, could be just me ;)

I`m guessing the interest wasn't there to justify it. Maybe they decided to go for Robot Wars again instead.
