I wish to enter the next champs but my current feather won't do.
Therefore:

Rango like weapon with bulls it like shape.
Bulls it will have to cough up his internals (speed 900's and scorpion XXL)
This is just a crude sketch as I can't work these programs very well.
So it's final shape and size will differ, but the idea behind it won't.

Looks awesome, not sure you'd need the forks to be that big though, might make it difficult to get robots into the weapon but other than that it looks great.
You just named the point of the points. That difficulty will allow me some time to rush my opponent to the wall before the weapon engages.
The design for the drum parts have been send to jeroen.
Hopefully he'll get back to me shortly.
First bits of progress are made.
Jeroen is definitely the right guy for a drum like this! :P
The drum as I designed it now will be 14cm wide with it's teeth making a 7 cm arc from it's centre.
How does this relate to Rango?
I fear it will turn out quite heavy, yet pretty effective.
The tooth sweeps a 120mm circle, it's 80mm wide (+bolt heads). The drum itself is 86mm diameter, the discs 8mm wide. Weighs 1.7kg.
I'll have close to double the weight then.
15mm discs on each end.
Will have to wait a week for confirmation.
