Just had a thought has anyone tried to make an ant robot whose body is just one sheet of paper with the motors held in by tape or similar the idea is the plans could be printed off by anyone cut and folded perhaps people reading this could come up with some designs.

Paper wouldn't hold the weight of the parts, but it's easily do-able to make a flat net diagram of a robot. If it was stiff card maybe it would be viable.
Paper comes in different thickness/weights, and 150 grams isn't much. I'm sure budding designers can come up with designs for ants and fleas don't forget material that has been folded increases it's strength and load carrying capacity by quite a lot.
Where's chocolate bot when it's needed? :P
