Brushless problem
Not a robot question, but closely related enough I think. Got the setup seen in the picture. When I power up the motor beeps until I switch on the Tx, after which I cant get anything to happen.
Any idea what the problem is?
Thanks a lot,
James.

Throttle needs to be down. If it keeps beeping it means the throttle is not at its lowest point. You may need to trim it to minimum. It should then beep a different tune and when it is finished you should be ready to go. See if this helps.

I would have thought it's what Harry said, but if not... does the speedo have a BEC? If you power the ESC up but there's no power to the receiver it will just beep like you said. Try plugging a smaller battery in to power the receiver.

Hmmm, funny...
The receiver is getting power- the power light comes on (and it is bound to the Tx as the light goes off when the Tx turns off)

Looks like your signal cable is upside down in the rx.
-
I was about to say the same thing, signal wire is in the wrong way
-
Flipping the wire going into the receiver round seems to just cut all power to the rx (this is why i had it they way I did).
The power light goes off in the Rx and the motor makes the same noises that it does if the rx is completely disconnected.
