Bosch 750 Magnet Retainers
I know a few people are struggling with magnets at the moment, just wanted to share what I have done.
There are 4 wedges that slot down between the magnets with M3 threads in both ends of all wedges. These wedges replace the existing spring retainers. The wedges are then held together with two 3mm ali disks at each end of the magnets.
The wedges also have M5 threads in the case side face, with screws that go through the case using the existing rectangular slots that normally hold the retaining spring in place. Using alternating ends to these slots will stop the whole magnet assembly from moving along the case.
Hope this idea helps you out. Its a fairly complicated solution. But I don't trust the normal springs as they have failed in the past event when bolted in.
I am happy to supply drawings to anyone who wants to make some sets for themselves. I may make a batch if there is interest and work is quite and they don't mind me doing so.
