Hi,
I'm still in the planning stages of a fw fbs but started thinking about the spinner part itself, for this I need a bit of steel tube with either 10mm walls 8 inch diameter or 3mm walls 16inch diamter , 75mm long.
But I don't know where I can find steel pipe of this size, online it seems to stop at about 6" and only goes up to 3mm wall.
Anyone have any ideas where I can get this size tube?
Go have a word with oil field casing supply companies. There are standard sizes of casing that would likely fit the bill of what you are after
How long? The 8" sounds plausible for me to get.
About 75mm long, 10mm walls. Like I said just in planning stages but need to know if it is possible to get hold of and roughly how much it will cost.Quote:

The wall thickness won't be 10. That ain't a standard pipe.
For that you'll have to look in machining pipe (prebored steel or ali billets)
Doesn't have to be exactly 10mm- could be 0.4" which I think is standard (schedule 60?), dimensions are still very flexible as still in planning stages.
