World Combot Championship

Just found this - sorry if I just missed a thread and am just repeating what someone else said. I couldn't find anything about it on here.

Anyway, the competition is called the World Combot Championship. I found a link on the RoboCore forum and checked it out, and I'm really excited for it! I think this may be a slightly toned down, potentially more international and varied replacement for Combots. It will probably start quite small, but I'm hoping it has potential.

They say they're going to be filming the events and "producing it into a season-based internet TV show". They're trying to encourage anyone who can get involved to get involved.

The first event is in Canada, so none of you will attend (it'd be too short notice anyway) but give them some support and keep an eye out for them. I'm going to be following this closely.
Just thought you might like to know, though I know some of you must have done already.
