Please can someone explain which wheels fit on which motors?

Hi, as above really. Looking through the tiny motors and wheels I'm finding it a bit bewildering as to which wheels will go on which shafts etc. I will go and have a look on robotwars101 but wondered if any of the antweight lads could post up which motors and wheel combination they use, together with how they attach. Sorry for being a pain but it's the last thing I'm stuck with and my 4yr old is going to strangle me if we don't get finished soon so he can bash about the living room with it!

In Mini E I'm using the Pololu 75:1 gear motors with Lego wheels that are attached to the shaft with these that Duff makes.

I think that other people ether make there own wheels with this sought of hubs built in, or they use something like these

Ohhh, and in terms of motors, I think that a lot of people use the 50:1 Pololu motors for more speed.

Thanks for the reply! Is there anything easy that fits on a servo to make a wheel? (thinking about gluing something to a servo horn lol)

Have a look at these, probably a little to large for your needs though.
I think a lot of people just use lots of super glue or a hot glue gun :proud:

I never really found any truly good way of fitting a wheel to a servo. The best I ever found was gluing a circular servo horn to the inside of a coke bottle lid. Its very wobbly at speed though. If you ever get motors let me know and I'll send some wheels and adapters over for you if you like. I've got loads knocking about.

Oh fantastic thanks! I'm just reading every inch of the 101 site and then gonna set too. My naff feather is nearly ready to fight but the ant's meet more regular and are just easier for my 4yr old to have a go with :D I was thinking about getting the robotwars101 kits.
