If I bought this blade transmitter for use in an antweight, would it also be suitable for featherweights (and heavyweights)?

tried 1 in scruffy and it struggled to keep the signal at the far side of the arena i had my hands above my head as well
it will probably work fine in the robo challange arena as its smaller bur the robot wars 1 was where mine struggled
I wouldn't allow it in a heavyweight in my arena.
Okay cool... So it'd probably be okay for robochallange but not a HW? That's great- thanks guys :)
Oh- and on that topic- would the Blade be compatible with an Orange Rx- this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Receiver.html
?
Yes it does. I use that pair in my antweight Napalm Death.
Should be fine for Antweights & Featherweights but the range is a bit short for Heavyweights. The EOs aren't going to trust it with that amount of weight no matter who made it. LOL.
However, if you're determined to buy only 1 transmitter - ORX T-Six.
Excellent, thank you :)
On that note- where did you buy yours? I cant seem to find a supplier that will ship to the UK :/
My Blade TX was shipped from a model shop in Windsor
However

Brilliant- thanks :)
When I fought with one of these transmitters at roaming robots I was standing roughly central behind the arena... I had to change batteries midfight as my robot got stuck out of range. :P And even before then was having all manner of trim and reliability trouble.
Only reason I was using it was that my DX6i had given up.
