wanted or a cheap place to buy for making of kart wheels as I am giving up on ally wheels
1 play fight with TAN lasted about 10 seconds been running them like that for a year and only had 3 puncture's so its time for another change
so 250 dia x 100mm or bigger
John, how long would it take for Kan Opener to destroy your wheels?
I'll ask my normal supplier about the options we have.
The simple one is full disks to be machined.
The more involved is welding a plate in a tube. Cheaper in parts, but with a failure point and more work extra.
Also, I just asked Jeroen (TAN) that he's willing to do the turning and milling for this, and he agrees. (my lathe can't take 250mm without a load of work)
its ok I can machine my self now I have some white stuff 1 thick just got enough to make 3 wheels at 9 1/2 dia
my next question is whats the best glue to stick the 4 pieces to gether to make a 4 wheel can use some bolts as well
also can glue the kart treads on but thinking small spikes now where can I get some off them od do I have to make some
Glues don't work with HDPE. If you want to join it then you need to weld it. For attaching tread, use some wood screws
