Re: 3D filming at Barnsley
how do we watch it in 3d?
Re: 3D filming at Barnsley
It looks like you'd need those coloured glasses (the ones with one red lens and one blue lens). So, if you just wear those when you watch the video, you should be able to see the 3D image.
(In Canada the post office was handing them out for coronation footage during Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee that aired on the CBC - if something similar happened in the UK, those glasses might work.)
Re: 3D filming at Barnsley
With youtube they take the raw 3D film and allow you to play it in a number of ways, one of them is the red/cyan glasses which is probably the easiest way.
On the bar that appears along the bottom of the video there is a 3D tab you can click on, it then gives you a choice of which system you want to use to view it.
You can try playing the side/side version and crossing your eyes, might hurt after a while though.
Also works on a 3D smart TV 8)
Re: 3D filming at Barnsley
I just downloaded and watched that video on my 3D tv and even though it looked great I now have a very bad case of vertigo and have been sick. I've never had that problem with any other 3D video or movie. The mixture of the arena lighting and the reflections/scratches on the polycarb make the video too painful for my head. Maybe need to try again with plain lighting and the camera against the polycarb, although I know this won't happen in FRA competitions.

Theres the rest of the Barnsley ones and now Whitwick as well.
Don`t worry I`ve also done 2D of Whitwick.
I`m currently working through the uploads and will make each fight public once they are ready.
