Re: Someone local for roboteq help
Have you taken it out the robot and tested it on the bench with a power supply and small motor hooked up to it?
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
yep, One moment it worked, but not in the way I wanted, the next nothing so after someone with more knowledge on them as mine is limited
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
Have you tried using the proper rc lead?
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
Yeah, tried all the obvious stuff and its still being temperamental
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
have you tested it with other RC gear? Read the manual to check the settings of the controller?
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
Explain what the problem is in detail. What is the screen saying?
Re: Someone local for roboteq help
Matt,
Do yourself a favour, go on the roboteq website and download their software for it.
Hook it up to the PC and it should find it in the software
If it doesn't check your rc lead
If it does then go in and find the bit which allows you to update software. Update the firmware and then check the settings.
You need mixed on both sides etc etc.
This has recovered a few of mine which have gone haywire.
Actually before you do that try plugging the motors directly into the battery. If they have a problem they may have stalled and this will probably show it up. This may be anything from a broken brush or a burnt out motor but it could well be taking the roboteq with it.
Also plug it in, it should spell out 'no control' on the little screen. Turn on the transmitter and this should change. If it doesn't then check the RC gear.
