you will also need a speed controler, eg a sabertooth 5a which is about £50
yes they are great, like harryhills says you just plug them into a sabretooth and put wheels straight onto the output shaft. you have to wait a few weeks for delivery usually so I bought four so I have two ready for my next ant.
