Ive managed to get myself a 2kg co2 bottle with a 7/8 UNF outlet but it is female.
My regulator I need to screw onto it has a 7/8 UNF inlet which is female.
So where can I get a 7/8 UNF male-male adapter?

Picture, as I can't imagine what you have there.
A female tread on a bottle means- in avarage- that it is a oxygen bottle.
I'll try to get pics of the bottle.
I got given the bottle for free and it says air on it.
I think that proves the point that you don't have a CO2 bottle at hand.
It maybe is possible to exchange the valve on it. A lot simpler than to buy an adaptor. If there is a firm willing to sell you one.
(it's not done, imagine a person using that adaptor to fill somebodies airbottle with CO2....Or worse, nitrogen. One dead diver/fireman/other air-bottle user)
