I've found the polypropylene hubs to be perfectly strong enough, but the green treads will wear down/lose their grip very quickly due to the soft low-Shore value. The orange and blue ones are Shore 40 and 50 respectively (compared to the green 30's) but I've never used those ones so I don't know how they compare performance-wise. I think Shore 50 is much closer to the popular 'blue' wheels from Robo Challenge though so they might be the better option for featherweights.
But grip aside, they seem sturdy enough, especially for the low cost.
thanks, I`m keeping them in mind as an option but planning on machining some from hdpe first.
the tyre info is really helpfull too.
what size of wheel are you after? And you planning on having bearings in the center or something
about 80mm I think, fixed to an axle which will hold the drive sprocket as well. Bearings each end of the axle.
