Roaming Robots 6th November 2011 Maidstone

Got back at about Midnight from another superb event. Thanks to all of the hard work put in by the RR crew to put it on again.A good format with 2 sold out shows and a good chance to socialise with like minded fools.

Congratulations to all of the show winners and to Jonno on retaining the Team Bud.We chewed up the brushes in one of our bosch's in the comp fight and wouldn't have made it in time for the Team Bud without the help of Mike Lambert and Karoline, Alex Wendy and myself are so gratefull to you both.We made it with minutes to spare,the battle plan was going well when we got stuck on one of our own panels that had come loose.Oh well we were miles behind at that stage but we would have had him and he knows it :lol:

The crowed seemed to enjoy the show and the VIP's stayed and asked questions everyone loved the whole experience.

Team Saint's robots had an ok time
Saint was as lack lustre as ever. I'm hoping to do some mods over the winter.
Cherub was worse the Chain broke again this is the third time!!! I also want to change the batteries and the lifter motor for something better.
Seraph went on with out much problems the robot seemed to have to be rebound so I will have to check the Rx plugs for that.
Tron worked very well even when MD ran over it! I had the robot get flipped out of the arena and land on my foot!!!

That ends the year and what a year it's been, just want to say. Huge thankyou to everyone who has supported and continues to it is really appreciated,

Got some really cool things coming for 2012, nothing to release about a 2012 champs yet but working on it plus most probably going to visit some new cities.

Just wish to thank John & Trevor for a fantastic year, love the changes to the arena - they work on so many different levels. My shed fairies are over the moon to have won Most improved heavyweight I am happy to have won the perseverance award (You've no idea what these little B*****s are like to work work with :rofl: )

They have some fantastic ideas for the new year to keep the improvements going, so I'm looking forward to the new year. This is a fantastic spobby - don't know what I'd do without it
