Yeh, should be fine.
About 2/3ths of the power of a Bosch.
With a 10 wheel, a 14 to 1 gearratio sounds fine.
3/4 bhp each but at 4000rpm aint too bad. Since im using a flipper, speed is more what im after rather than pushing power :)
Speed is fun.
But to have speed, you need power.
If you disagree, why do have all fast cars a load of HP?
If you use a lower power motor (and bosch 750 @36V is mid power in thesadays), you have the 2 following options. High end speed but lousy acceleration and high amp draw, or reasonable acceleration and amp draw
its hard finding an alternitive to the good old 750w motor thats not making me have a heart attack when i see the price
Join the club, 11 years ago I had the same feeling, when I started Roboteering.
But after some experiments, our heavies are using Bosch 750's. Except Bullfrog Breed, that uses Iskra AMG 800W motors. Heavier than a bosch 750, but more rugged construction.
i would use them, but there are none in stock for 6 months
Try Iskra Motors, they do a1.2kw 24v DC motor :uhoh:
