Most engineering creations are referred to as Female, ships for instance or some items with an element of endearment like cars.
But what about our Robots? Most of them have far too aggressive (Basher), demonic (Satanix) or plain stupid (no mentions..) names.
Well my currently nonexistent robot will of course be a super mega death bringer killer of all living beings death death death, making it a female.

Edit: I don't actually know. It's a good question I guess. I had never thought of a robot as male/female. Obviously, Matilda was always considered female. And actually, despite Sir Killalot being called SIR Killalot, I picture her, I mean, it, as a female. The robot's head just looks female to me. Don't know.
I've always treated my robots, mostly, as full beings with no real gender - not unlike angels. (except angels with front hinged flippers)
I think it comes down to name & colour scheme ultimately.
I mean names inevitably have a bearing on gender. Avengeress is female, Kaizer is male (kaiserin is female) Spike, you would expect to be male.
Then there's the decoration - the creature/Twn trwn could well be female...
Apparently I can't spell 'Neither' and it's in the un-editable part of the post, ADMIN!!!
Or feminine! Oh well, I hadn't noticed the first time. :wink:

my feather is a he, some of my ants are she's and my heavy is most definatly a he :proud:
