      Information
The Stag is a heavyweight robot that was constructed originally by Terry Martin of Team Bodge-it from Newcastle. It was first built in 2001 where it failed to qualify for the Fifth series of the UK Robot Wars. It was rebuilt again for the next year where it qualified for Series 6 but lost the first round of its heat to Wild Thing and Vader on a judges decision. It then came back for the Seventh wars in 2003 where it lost the first round of its heat again to IG-88 and Scorpion. After many appearances at live events, The Stag was retired and sold in 2011 to Welsh-based team the Wrexham Wreckers who only made one appearance with it at the Welsh Comic-con. The Stag had a powerful set of crushing jaws with more crushing force than a stag beetle and was also the only one that didn't seem to bother about being unable to self-right.
