      Information
Tsunami is a German heavyweight robot that was built by Eric Ehrensberger and Jochen Wittman from Laaber. The first version of their machine took part in the only series of the German Robot Wars where it finished as runner-up to Black hole. In 2003, it was rebuilt to the spec it is in now for the UK Seventh Series of Robot Wars where it did well throwing out Major Tom 3, Diabalous and Constrictor before losing out to X-Terminator in its heat final. After taking part in a lot of the Roaming Robots and DRG events across the UK and Europe for a few years after Robot Wars, Eric and Jochen decided to call it a day and sold Tsunami to Dirk Antwerpen of Team Flatliner in 2007. It remained out of action there still for 5 more years before Dirk refurbished it for 2012 where it came out of retirement at the Robot Wars Portsmouth event in 2013 where it lost all its fights apart from the European challenge where it earned vengeance beating Luzifer, the successor to Black Hole and also Gravity. Tsunami is armed with a very powerful flipper which very few robots have wanted to tangle with.
