      Information
Edge Hog is a heavyweight originally built in Macclesfield, Cheshire by Stephen Egerton and Chris Prest, it was built in 2002 for Robot Wars. Losing the first round of its heat in both its appearances of Robot Wars it made its heat final of the New Blood Championships in Robot Wars Extreme and then also finished as runner-up to Tough As Nails in the European Championships in 2003. Edge Hog is well known for its powerful axe which can strike at tremendous force and can cause plenty of damage if it gets in close enough. In 2006, Edge Hog was sold to Team Wrexham Wreckers who not only fight with it, but also have it open for hire to come to kids robot birthday parties and has proved to be an enjoyment to watch for all ages.
