      Armour
      Chassis is all armored in aircraft-grade titanium.
      Power
      2 x 5.5hp Mag motors power its 8-wheel drive. The weapon is powered by a 1hp mag motor for the weapon.
      Weapons
      Stag beetle-like crushing jaws which can crush with a pressure of 4 tonnes. Jaws are mounted on the end of a central lifting arm which can move at 270 degrees giving it enough power to turn itself over. Weapon can be used for grabbing, crushing, flipping or lifting.
      Strengths
      It's multi-purpose weapon is its main advantage as this makes it a very flexible adversary for its opponents. Has also got tough armour.

      Can often be hard to control at times.

      Information
      Big Nipper, is a robot that has fought in its current incarnation since series 7 of Robot Wars in 2003. It has the same chassis, but has been upgraded many times over the years. Big Nippers weaponry consisting of crushing jaws on the end of the lifting arm make it a very flexible and agile contestant for its opponents. Big Nipper has enjoyed many successes in live events including winning the 2007 and 2012 UK Championships and finishing 3rd in 2004 & 2006.

      Most recently Big Nipper placed 4th in the 2014 UK Heavyweight Championships.
